Matricide ... hmmmm

This would have started out differently, you understand, if I hadn't been subjected to "The Mother" today. I suspect that she's bypassed her second childhood and gone straight into her second puberty! I love her dearly of course, even when she's being insufferable, so she's in no actual danger of being bumped off by a son driven mad. But gods if she was anyone else!!!
But I digress from bringing you, Gentle Reader, up to date with the comings and goings of yours truly.
I have now watched The Two Towers extended DVD and it is mightily good. I have also watched all the special features and listened to the cast commentary, which I found very entertaining. The one major disappointment was discovering that the delicious Bernard Hill (Theoden) has a son and is therefore (probably) not gay *sigh*. Although I am looking forward very much to seeing Return of the King at the cinema I find that I am looking forward rather more to the extended version ... the theatrical releases being rather like extended trailers.
My bout of influenza has decided to take up residence in my sinuses, which is rather uncomfortable and leaves me rather prone to vicious headaches ... Sinutab is my best buddy at the moment.
Last week saw me attending a CV writing course paid for by Thomson (the folks that made me redundant recently). This prompted a slight tweaking of my CV along with a general tweak of The WereHouse.
My most recent purchase was a digital camera with which I am well pleased. I suspect that I shall make a page of photos on the website as the quality of the pictures is good enough to get me back into photography (albeit not terribly seriously).
Also, I have been prompted by reading one of
JFS's recent entries to do the notorious compatability test. Results are in the cut below:
Tomorrow I am looking forward to eating tasty Chinese food with
JFS and
Westernind.
But for now I think I shall try to get some sleep.
Goodnight.
