Well just back from seeing V for Vendetta and, not having read the graphic novel, I was extraordinarily impressed. This is definately going into my Top Ten Favourite Films list, not a weak performance in the house and the characters' journeys were engrossing. Frankly Alan Moore is an idiot to remove his name from the credits, this was an awesome piece of work ... especially in view of recent political developments.

Of particular (and amusing) note, the chap on the extreme right of the Cabinet, Eddie Marsan, was in my class at drama school ... a very, very fine actor and one to watch.

So Sahara was a much better film than I was expecting it to be. As the Fox ably described it, the film is a cross between Indiana jones and James Bond ... lots of fun.

Very much looking forward to seeing The Promise though ... it looks like a cracking film.
