Heh, neither would I. Suffice to say I was young and in denial and trying to persuade myself that I was straight.

Also there is quite a big difference in my mind between "making out" and having sex.

Interesting perception - I wasn't surprised. It's something I'd answer "yes" to as well. I guess because it's a denial/experimentation thing. I'd be very surprised to hear it was more recently than teenage years, however.

No surprises here then! At eighteen I began seeing my first male partner and knew straight away that all the denial and experimentation in the world wouldn't change the way I felt.
