100 Best Bollocks
Jan. 6th, 2006 01:15 pmFirst off ... a very Happy Birthday to
curlwomble!
Secondly, a meme what I nicked from
caddyman)
TIME have picked their 100 best English language novels from 1923 to the present.
So how many have you read?
Hmm, good question ... at least three but it may be as high as five.
Which ones have you read? (or indeed haven't if that’s a quicker way to do it)
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Lord of the Rings
Watchmen
I may have read Neuromancer but I can't remember ... William Gibson's books last about as long as the taste of a McDonald's burger.
I was supposed to read To the Lighthouse for my English A level but I can't remember if I bothered reading it all or not ... I certainly wouldn't read it by choice.
Do you have anything to say in your defence?
The list was compiled by an American magazine, I see no reason to defend myself. I've read books that are older than their country for pity's sake.
