Maelfroth downtimes never fail to depress do they?

"Dear The Merchant,
The Fallen Eidolons are a bit of a problem down here, been doing my bit to try to keep the blighters' numbers down but could really use some better tools for the job as they seem to be eating a lot of souls and getting devotees.
Yrs &c,
Jagular"

"Dear Jagular,
Thanks for the prayers, they're really cool and stuff. Glad you're having fun fighting Fallen, here's a neat ability to let you make more if you ever start to run out.
Be excellent,
The Merchant"

*sigh*

It seems a bunch of chums have also had a less than rosy downtime, though I suspect that theirs may involve being attacked by forces they can't do anything about again.

No, it doesn't sound right does it? Here's a skill to turn loyals into fallen, so reduce your potential allies and increase the number of soul-sucking monstrosities in the world.

Could it be something you need to know and can work on to produce one to turn fallen back into loyals? (ignorant of large parts of system, here, so realise this may not e do-able at all)

The Priest skill tech-tree is hidden ... and may not even be a tree in progression terms. So no, it isn't anything I can work on, the Priest skills are a matter of faith (literally and figuratively).

Surely combined with 'banish fallen' it's a winning combo though.

Well yes ... if one had been taught Banish Fallen, it certainly would (though not a combo I'd normally be particularly interested in)

There's a difference between hitting an immortal creature with sticks, forcing it to rematerialise somewhere, and imprisoning it in Hell where it will take a significant effort to free it.

The only reason an aggressive tactic worked against Fallen last event was because the nearest ritual circle was a day and a half away.

Certainly there is the option of camping the ritual circle and killing anything that appears, but frankly, if I wanted to sit around a ritual circle all day I'd offer to mark rituals for the LT.
