Stayed up way past my bedtime last night fiddling with The Bad Place having been spurred on by the latest issue of .NET and, later, by a brainstorm that cut the contents of my stylesheet in half. The results aren't quite as pleasing as I'd hoped they would be (mostly thanks to Internet Exploder's unique interpretation of CSS but at least the site is now fully compliant with CSS 2.0 and xhtml 1.0 transitional, which pleases me a great deal ... and the fonts will scale too, though I far prefer the look of the thing when I set fonts based on pixels rather than bloody ems. In general, the site is more accessible, which is a good thing ... at some point I might even bung some clever stuff in there ... though a priority is to add a portfolio page, though that'll have to wait until my latest project is completed (probably by the end of the summer).
