Does anyone know of a free downloadable DVD plug-in for Windows Media Player to allow it to play DVDs?

That was my first port of call ... all of those charge though and I simply don't use my PC to play DVDs often enough to warrant parting with any cash for this.

Download VideoLAN, it plays most things, not sure about DVDs from the DVD ROM drive, but it might. Worth a shot and its great with any sort of media file.
