New World Order: Grand Tribunal
May. 22nd, 2006 09:48 pmIt's been a week since the event and I think matters have gelled in my mind sufficiently for a write-up.

And in other news ...
May. 22nd, 2006 10:08 pmHad a thoroughly splendid weekend, much of which was shared with the lovely
jul1et and
s0b. There was much talk, with plans for The Wake proceeding apace (the words "plot" and "team" were indeed used) and some interesting metaphysical discussions ... really must write that down at some point ... some point soon. There was also tasty pasta-related food and a battle with the Cheese That Should Not Be.
Saturday saw me hurrying over to the Treehouse to fulfil a long-standing dream. After several hours of recording I have now, officially, done voice-over work. I've wanted to do this kind of work since I was at college and fell throughly out of love with the stage and screen ... it was such a blast, and exactly what I hoped that it would be. My efforts seemed to be well-recieved and there was talk of another session to record some additional sequences ... I are a chuffed Binidj.
On returning to Sexbat Towers, I discovered that my tongue ached like unto a muscle that had been exercised vigorously and also that I was utterly exhausted. Thankfully my understanding hosts allowed me to snooze on the sofa for a while before treating me to a splendid dinner ofroast grilled cooked chicken, red cabbage and cheesy potato ... followed by yummy Gü. Later in the evening there was much cheering at the Eurovision Song Contest.
