Had a wonderful weekend courtesy of chez clawbeastClawbeast. A great deal of Chinese food and sake was consumed ... really, a prodigious amount ... and very tasty it was too. It was lovely to catch up with some folks that I hadn't seen for a while and to plot various enterprises for the future ... in particular keep your eyes open for Earhole.com! Oh, and if anyone wants a copy of that ringtone, drop me a line ... I'm sure Col (sans LJ I believe) will love you forever.1

Sadly, a plan I had to celebrate my 42nd birthday at this exhibition has been scuppered by the tyranny of time ... or by my inability to tell 2008 from 2007 ... you decide. That being said, I think it would still be fun to visit the British Museum on Saturday 31 March this year, so keep your diaries clear! I may need to give some thought to other activities on the day but as a core concept I think a British Museum trip is a goer. Any suggestions for additional (cheap) activities gratefully received. At some point in the not too distant future I will probably pop a website up to keep all the details in one place.

In other news, it seems that kathbadkathbad has now been rebranded as kathbadk-d00d.2

1 This may not be true.
2 This may not necessariliy have been kathbadk-d00d's idea.

Picnic. Pick a park (or some other more strange public location) and picnic at it. For your birthday, I mean. Umbrellas would probably be a good idea too. You could maybe take a ball, or boules, or giant garden chess set?

Oh, and a towel each! That would be especially appropriate. Or you could demand everyone bring you a towel each in return for sandwiches. You could even make it a costumed affair.

I like! This would also potentially mean a costumed trip to the British Museum, which I also like.
