Don't let our voices be lost

So I've seen quite a bit of discussion amongst my friends regarding the topic of animal testing and then, in a curious bout of synchronicity, I find out from the RSPCA about an EU consultation process concerning that very same issue.

Now regardless of your views on the topic, and I know they're quite disparate, I urge you to register your opinions and encourage your friends to do the same.

It is important that the views of EU citizens are adequately represented, otherwise the only opinions out there will be those of the industries which profit from the use of animals in laboratory tests ... and personally I would rather any decision made was as a result of feedback from people rather than corporations.

Thanks for that.

Although (as ever with this sort of survey) the questions posed are somewhat limiting at times.

Thanks for that. Seeing as this is one of those rare cases where the UK is far more forward-thinking than the rest of the EU I think it's important that they know that they need to raise their standards sharpish.
