So having been prompted by the indescribably wise Nyarbaggytep to perform the following exercise:

Go to Dictionary.com's word of the day archives and find the word of the day for your last birthday, James reckons that should then be your word for the year.

My result was: this. I tell you, had I been drinking anything my screen and keyboard would have been liberally soaked!
