Passing on a message

From Viper event organisers:

Unfortunately we have bad news regarding the forthcoming Viper Campaign event - Nothing Else Matters.The campsite we were due to use has been double booked by the Scouts (The scouting association, not the guild) and we are not prepared to run our event when there are non-participants present both for insurance reasons and because we believe it will be detrimental to the overall atmosphere of the event.

Due to the short notice we have received, we have been unable to find an alternative venue that is suitable for the style of event we want to run, therefore we have reluctantly made the decision to cancel this event. An IC reason as to why the event has been cancelled will follow shortly.We will be contacting all who have booked to play individually to sort out the refund of their booking fee.Please can you pass this information on to ensure the word is spread to anyone that was thinking about attending our event (to play or monster).

We would like to encourage anybody that now finds themselves at a loose end that weekend to go and crew the Wolves event, which is taking place at Willesley camp site (approx 30 miles from our venue). More details can be found here.
