Lazing on a Sunday aftern ... er, evening

What a lovely day it's been, very, very lazy and very chilled. Come to think of it, yesterday (at least the latter part of it) was rather splendid too.

Saturday started out rather poorly with me snapping at mum for no readily apparent reason. After ruminating upon my snappiness for a while I decided that I was pretty much entirely in the wrong and bought her a bunch of flowers by way of apology (lame much) before heading out to HA. Once with the Fox things brightened considerably and we spent a very pleasant evening watching a couple of the linking stories from Animatrix followed by Matrix Reloaded, eating far too much Mexican food and drinking a bottle of rather wonderful white Grenache.

Sunday dawned in a very lazy manner and, once I finally dragged my sorry arse out of bed, saw my first proper session of EQ here at Chez Renard. Then out for a bit of shopping and return to feed on home-made chocolate brownies and triple chocolate ice cream and watch Kevin and Perry Go Large (which is a much more enjoyable movie than I'd anticipated) whilst snuggled under a duvet. Also just received news that one of my online chums from EQ has just become a grandad, which is fantastic news.

Now the Fox is in the kitchen preparing dinner (no idea what it's going to be yet) prior to watching another movie before heading back home.

Sorry to be unable to provide any irony, bile or social comment ... but I'm just too damn content to muster any up just right now.
