I'm Back!

Back from NWO tonight and had a very fine time indeed. Unfortunately Ilam Hall is (whilst very lovely) in a dead zone as far as mobile phones are concerned so I didn't speak to, or text, the Fox all weekend1. Of course he pictured pieces of me strewn across the M1 and was a little ... anxious. All is well now though as I phoned him as soon as I reached Derby.

The event itself was a great deal of fun, Hector became rather more complete than he was at the Thebes event and did a lot less observing and a lot more doing. Hopefully that trend will continue at the next event - two years and counting!

Many thanks and kudos to the writers, referees and players for such a rare gem.

1Alright there was a payphone there but I never actually saw it and I only ever saw the sign for it when I was in the middle of something crucial.

The kit, for all your fretting about it, looked good.

Shame none of my 3 incarnations had Hector as someone they needed to talk to, and too many people they did need to see to spend time with others.

Heh, quite a common situation to find yourself in at NWO! =)

I should say that Hector was splendid and that, as a personal pleasure, to be allowed to participate in the world designed by him and Marcus was a rare pleasure. It was relatively out of character, but at the time I could have cared less.

May I say that the announcement of No-one was a personal disappointment. Hector, I always thought that it would be you... *s*
